Front Camera 360° Alignment

I tried to search but didnt really find anything...

So i'm thinking about swapping some front end parts (grill, ford emblem) and on the ford performance site it says the following must be done.

"Using a scan tool carry out the 360 Degree view camera alignment procedure."

Is this necessary? i mean i do have to remove the camera and install it on another emblem on another grill soooooo
Can that be done with Forscan?
Will a dealership have to recalibrate the 360°/front camera?

any insight will be helpful.

FDRS and Mongoose cable can do it, Forscan I believe has issues with it.
There have been tons of posts here with people swapping emblems and I don't think they have needed to recalibrate anything.

I wouldn't worry about it until you get it done. You'll know it needs done if the stitching of camera views looks off. I certainly wouldn't let it stop me in your shoes.

Thanks for the solid advice...yeah i think i'm still gonna place the order. maybe i can try to use a dry erase marker to make marks to try my best to get the camera back in place. it probably only goes in one way anyway and since its not a new camera i'm hoping i'll be fine.
