Howdy all, I recently got OBDlink MX+ adapter to connect to my trucks with forscan, at first after figuring out how to connect the Bluetooth to my windows 11 laptop, it connected to forscan and my truck trouble free. But I just barely tried connecting to my dads truck to disable some annoying “features” for him and now forscan won’t connect to my adapter anymore, not just on his 22 f150 but both of trucks as well. I’ve check all the settings where I can. Has anyone ran into this problem?
I’ve tried factory resetting the adapter, I’ve tried uninstalling forscan and redownloading. My computer shows I’m connected to the adapter and the OBD link app shows the connection to the truck and its vitals.

Well at one time this fixed my connection issue. I now see that a Windows 11 update removed this option from my laptop. Providing this in case it is still there on yours. If its not there, perhaps removing the device and reinstalling it will solve the issue if MS turned it on by default via their update.

I was able to get it figured out. So with windows 11, getting the Bluetooth adapter to connect can be pretty hard since with windows 11 it acts like it won’t connect at all unless you use OBDlinks program OBDwiz, which helps enable the Bluetooth connection.
I thought you had to have that program running to keep the adapter connected while running forscan but it turns out you need all other programs turned off for forscan to connect to the adapter. I turned that off and Forscan connected to my adapter immediately.

Issue I’m having is mine picks up but when I connect it’s like it picks up and drops off causing numerous DTC codes or yellow caution issues lol
