Forscan undone?

This is a weird one.. I had a reputable shop do some very common Forescan (shown in pictures). I was very happy. Everything worked. Now 5 days later the door ajar chime has somehow reappeared... And the headlights are mysteriously staying on for 20 minutes when I park the vehicle. Neither of these two things were happening in the first several days after the update. They have manifest just in the last 48 hrs. I have over the air updates turned off. Any thoughts?

Did you get an OTA before your truck reported to the Ford server? If you did, the as built on the server were not updated with your Forscan changes when the OTA went through. I think the Auto Updates turned off in Sync only stops the OTA'S that require the truck to inhibited from driving. All others go through regardless.

That's only with FDRS and not Forscan.

There's an issue with the headlights switch that can cause them or the parking lights to stay on randomly. I have this issue occasionally, it comes and goes, hasn't happened in a while. Ford was aware of the problem and working on a redesigned switch.

You could pull the asbuilts for your truck from the Ford servers and see if they are updated.
