2023 F150 Lariat.
Got forscan And did a bunch of mods And am satisfied with them.
Tonight I went to do some more mode in the apim And didn't like the outcome so I went to restore the file and it keeps giving me an error that it can't read so it won't restore original entries.
I even tried factory load and still no help.
Does anyone have original data #'s for the mods I did.
Ive attached a pic of the mode.
I added hvac controls to my screen but don't like them so I want to go back to original setup.
Please and thank you

Sorry if this is in the wrong place.
Please advise
I would advise to take a picture or screen shot of module #'s before you change them so if you run into an issue with back ups you can plug the original #'s in

Take a picture of your screen with the HVAC controls on it. I would like to see what it looks like. I want to do that to my 2025, but would like to see the screen first. You can search as built data information, and download all the original values and save it. You will need your vin to get the correct info. I will try to look around where I found the as built data.

@swpm9073 , I can do what you ask, but I need you to give me your current values for those items.

Heya,
This is what I found.
Got my original build from the site and re did my #'s and it worked

I am about to embark on the FORSCAN adventure for the first time. I have seen instructions that go two ways. One is to go to all AS BUILT modules in the truck and back them all up one at a time. The other is to go to Index - FordServiceInfo.Com (motorcraftservice.com)enter your VIN and download a .ab file.

I have done the latter and have the .ab file saved. Is that enough for me to start making FORSCAN changes without going through the long process of backing up every module individually?

My thought process is to back up only the modules I'm going to make changes in (along with notes in a spreadsheet), so I can restore an individual module if I want to, but have the .ab file as a general backup.

I will totally do "every AS BUILT" if that's the best practice, but figured if I could save some time and still be protected, I'd do the more incremental way.

Thoughts?

Thanks

Here is a link that you can get your original as built info incase you mess up and need to go back to original
https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt
Put you vin in and it gives you all the original values.

@swpm9073 Warren:

7D0-02-01 xxxx 42xx xx-- the "4" you're leaving this one as is.
7D0-02-02 xxx0 xxxx xx--
7D0-02-03 xxxx xxx0 xx--

Then reboot the APIM in service procedures (the spanner icon).
