I was bored and looking for ways to spend FordPass points and came across this, which I don't believe I've seen in the catalog before - https://accessories.ford.com/products/super-duty-2023-rear-pet-seat-cover-floor-hammock

It looks to be just a marked up resell of this - https://4knines.com/products/floor-hammock-for-crew-cab-trucks?variant=32952799035453

It seems like it would offer decent coverage, and also still allow the passenger seat to fold down when needed. I have a benchseat-style hammock that I used in my Ranger and other vehicles (cars), but it's not usable in the F150 due to the size and floor depth of the rear cabin.

It is a bit pricey, and sure I could just throw a blanket over the folded-up seats, but it has my interest piqued.

Anyone have any experience with it?

i use one i got from amazon
it connects to rear seat back under the head rests, with an elastic runner that goes behind seat back to latch both sides
then you have option of folding seat down to sit on and seat belts pop through and it drapes down to floor, or lift up both seats and it drapes to floor or hammock it to the front seat head rests
i drive mostly with rear seat in the folded stowed position
dogs or dog lay on floor on cover or blankets
forget about keeping one out of front seat. she will move the passenger to the rear. or lay on center console (grand dog is spoiled)
i have had it about 10 years..its spill proof and washable in machine
it really covers the rear seats completely if seats are down
my mom does not like sitting on them , but i tell her its to hard to pop the seat belts back out and fold it up  ?

my rear passengers...90% of time are my dog or the grand dog.

We have one like this and are very happy with it (our dog likes it as well) we bought for my wife's car but use it in the truck just fine. We think it provides a bit of safety for the dog as well as can't fall off the seat if we have to stop quickly. Price is about $40

I have the Ford one for my truck and a 4Knines for my wife's car. The one thing I wish the Ford ones had was the plastic and loop on the seat side to help keep it on the seat better. The Ford one doesn't come off completely, but it is prone to sliding forward a little. It is a slightly heavier cover as well compared to the 4Kines.

Thanks all. My dog is 90lbs, so some covers don't work well, especially if the entire seat is folded down - too much room between the seat edge and cavern beneath. I also sometimes drive like an asshole, so I don't want him tucked underneath the front seats when I brake or do other asshole stuff. :)

We're planning a trip to a GA cabin in November and are taking all three dogs - my 90lb goldendoodle, and wifeys two small 14lb bitches (I use that term in both ways. lol) The girls will be crated, one on the floor and one on the folded pass seat, with the real dog taking the rest of the floor space.

I rarely have anyone in the back, but either way, it's a quick change over to humans if needed.
