Some fun weighing game, in case anyone else is curious or interested in this:

I wanted to know my truck's curb weight, that's one important number that Ford - for some reason - fails to provide.

2021 5.0L SuperCrew Lariat, full 36 gallon extended range fuel tank (and I mean full; filled up 2 minutes before weighing :D):

This includes two occupants + miscellaneous items in the cab/bed.
The occupants and other items in the truck (I weighed each item individually) = 463 lbs.

So total As Built, Actual curb weight of my truck including Extang Solid Fold 2.0 Tonneau cover is 5437 lbs.

This puts my loading capacity at 1613 lbs, which is about 126 lbs lower than my max load rating:

I assume the Tonneau cover is roughly 60 lbs, that leaves me with additional ~60 lbs that are somewhere on the truck, unless I am reading these numbers incorrectly.

Ford does (kinda) provide as built curb weight (with some math).

Take your GVWR from the other door sticker and subtract the Payload from the Yellow Sticker. This is your As Built Curb Weight, as Ford understands it. As Built Curb Weight only includes all options installed by Ford at the Manufacturing Plant plus all fluids (coolant, oil, full fuel).

Does NOT include any Dealer (or Customer) installed options.

Which brings me to the same 126 lbs difference:

GVWR = 7050
Payload = 1739
"Official" Curb Weight - 5311 lbs
Actual Curb Weight based on Cat Scale and itemized weight - 5437 lbs.

The Difference is 126 lbs, however my actual Cat Scale weight includes the Extand Tonneau cover.

Yep, that and the fact CAT scales are (at least) +/- 20lbs accuracy.

I knew from your post you had it all figured out. I was just replying for others, who wanted to know what their As Built Curb Weight is without finding a CAT scale.

True, and after the fact I questioned my truck positioning on the scales. I guess that the location of your axles on the scales can also make a difference in actual weight. It is harder to place F-150's axles right in the middle of both plates because the wheelbase is much shorter than a semi and the cat scale is built mainly for a semi's wheelbase.
