Looking to trade in VW Atlas and placing an order for our first F150, an XLT 3.5 ecoboost Supercrew with the Max Tow and 6 1/2 bed. A few questions the dealer has not been able to answer. At almost $71 out the door after $4k delivery allowance, the 2 dealers seemed to think it was good to step up to Lariat, but I think we will stay with XLT.

- Can you upgrade trailer tow mirrors to power telescoscoping?

- With the 360 camera setup, if I plan to put a cap on the bed, does the one camera become useless or is some sort of reconfig required?

- With the 302a and Max Trailer, does this cover off the gadgets in the Tow Technology Package?

Thanks

1. In previous gen, there were 2 types of wiring harnesses, one had more pins than the other. So if the 302a does not have the full harness, you are screwed. But since BLIS has waterfalled down to XLT this generation, you may be in luck. I don't know how you will get this answered until service departments start seeing the new models or a youtube how-to shows up.

2. I'm 99.999% sure it will block the camera and they aren't going to put a small clear glass window there for a camera to see in. I know my shell blocked the box light, but oh well. I'd hope that a shell makes you secure in the belongings back there and it isn't a huge loss.

3. I believe that since when you add max trailer, you cannot add tow tech, that yes it includes it all. It did in the previous generation. And now you get BLIS on XLT! (I didn't)

I think anyone moving from Tow Technology to any of the Tow packages has to add back the 360 Camera System as a stand alone option. There might be other items, but this is the one that sticks out in my memory.
