FDRS USB 0 Error for IPC module can't get past help

Hello-

I have done tons of updates with FDRS on my F150 and all worked including USB. I have an IPC update that won't let me update, it throws a USB 0 error. I have switvhed drives, re-installed and rebooted. Anything else I can do to get this one to work? I want to fully update everything my 21 truck never got any updates until I did this, thanks!

Sometimes that happens and you'll have to use can bus. It will take 4+ hours to do it that way with Mongoose.

Several of us had trucks that were impossible to update IPC via OTA or USB until a later update somehow fixed the issue. I had to do i think 3 or 4 long IPC updates the hard way.

Best to keep FDRS issues in the FDRS long thread for visibility. Might have got faster reply there. ?

I had a similar error on one of my updates. After multiple failed attempts, I tried running the update with the truck running rather than in ACC mode and the update went through successfully.

I did the IPC update yesterday and had the same issue when using a cheap USB thumb drive. I downloaded the file to a SanDisk 128GB thumb drive and it was much faster. I did the install with the truck on a battery charger.
