Hey gang, I am coming from having the aftermarket weathertec full coverage floor mats so that there is no carpet exposed, and I'm worried that the mats that come with the FX4 package are NOT full coverage. I had originally thought that the FX4 package offsets me adding the weathertec mats so it kind of helps me justify paying the $1k just for hill descent control and a decal (and slight loss of payload due to skid plates).

Since the new trucks on lots all have the FX4 mats wrapped in plastic in the back seat, I cannot verify yet. Can anyone verify the floor area coverage using pics, and also how snug up against the fold-flat storage the mats get?

Thanks in advance!

Here are the tray-style liners from my new XLT with FX4.

Ah, so at least any the front seats, any coffee would have to travel uphill to reach carpet, or spilled directly onto it.

May I trouble you to see the rear area? I'm curious how well it mates up to the fold flat (if you have it) or under the front seats/to the doors.

Thanks so much!

No problem at all! Here’s a couple from the rear. I’m pretty happy with these factory liners.

Thank you, KBKEITH! Great pics, I was kinda wondering myself.

I remember seeing the FX4 mats while shopping, but couldn’t fully recall and didn’t want to put out fake info!

So I'm here in Canada and all the trucks I have seen in person were delivered with summer mats. That being said I ordered all weather mats through the dealer. Granted I'm only paying like 50 bucks because I'm leasing the truck. Was this a mistake?

Ah, shoot! There is definitely a carpet gap on the back mats for sure, where liquid will hit if spilt. Hmm. I don't think it is enough for me to splurge on weathertecs again, I'll probably just make the kids find a new roof to live under if they cause damage to my truck.

What is the difference between summer and all weather mats? The ones in the above pics are all weather?

Oh, and thanks for the pics!

Also, ditto on the F-150 logo! That kinda helps me wanna stick with the factory ones, at least in the front seats. You can buy just the rear or fronts from weathertec, it doesn't have to be the full set. But I'll wait until I see how it butts up to the fold flat storage.

You can see here the weathertech version for the superduty where they already have had fold flat storage. The rear mat has the spillway out the door, and an angled edge that mates up to the fold flat storage bezel. THAT is what I was assuming the FX4 mat would do.
