Hello all -

Located here in Dallas, TX. I will keep this as short as I can.

Went to a local Ford dealer in the Dallas metro and went to see an F150 I found on the inventory pages. It's a loaded 502A Lariat Sport 3.5L. The options don't really matter much to the story, but I want a particular build.

Showed up today (didn't tell them I was coming), and asked to see this truck. She walks away.....Comes back...

"The truck isn't here...we have a loaner program...It might be back now in the bodyshop getting inspected...not quite sure..."

I go...well ok...how many miles will it have on it when it comes back...

"1500-2500 miles"

Does anyone have any idea whats going on here??? They would loan out a brand new 66000$ F150??? She was a but grey on this whole thing.

The CEO had dealers loan out the trucks in Texas for the generator capability. I'm sure corporate must have kicked back to the dealers, as now it cannot be sold as new legally?

By you being in Dallas, I'm just taking an educated guess...
