yeah i think its like 6 bolts that hold the metal skid on. the plastic piece i honestly dont remember if it snapped in only or if there was a nut or three

Finally got mine on my 22 xlt. It is lifted 6 inches so had to modify the back side of the skid plate.

how was the modification process? Was it pretty simple? I have a 6” lift and looking to do the same.

It was easy. I did it the long way of taking the grille and all out to get to the bumper Easier. But took me about 4 hours doing it that way

Is there any rhyme or reason to the acetone trick on the plastic trim piece in this kit? I tried it on mine that has a February 2024 build date and it doesn’t seem to work but I’ve seen others with a similar or same build date and they are able to wipe the black coating off with ease.

I think it's just the luck of the draw on whether you get one that has the silver paint under the black.

Did mine yesterday. So happy with the way it turned out!

Trying to decide if I want to paint mine chrome to match the bumper. Did that thought cross your mind?

I have a 4” BDS lift on an all black BAP Powerboost truck. I flat black powder coated the skid plate and color matched the bottom plastic piece that goes around the tow hooks. Can you give me a little more detail on what you had to do to modify the skid plate? How did you modify it? Angle grinder? Any additional pics would be very much appreciated! Thanks in advance.
