F-150 plant shutdown week

Found on another forum (updated 6/4/2022) that the F-150 plants will have a weeklong shutdown:

Dearborn: week of 6/27/2022
Kansas City: week of 7/4/2022

This may be why we all saw a flurry of rescheduling recently.

Wow, maybe my K Blend Date of 6/15 will make it to convoy by the K plant shutdown.

Does anyone on know if the plant shut down impacts shipment too?

My limited was built on 5/5 and I'm on my third shipping delay. Now scheduled for the week of plant closure.

Shipping should still continue, they just begin to retool the line for the next year model, maintenance, and clean up areas that can't be reached during full on production 24/7. Normally it's two weeks but they cut back to one again to try and catch up.

yeah shipping continues this build week of 7/4 for KC at least.

I had a blend date of 7/3. I did not make it off line before the shutdown, as did a couple others.
