After 4 XLT’s I’m finally going to get a Lariat. I am happy to join the Lariat Lounge/club now. Ordered March 1st, SuperCrew Lariat Sport Appearance, FX4, Max Tow (3.73 axle),Trailer Tow Mirrors, B&O Unleashed, Moonroof, 5.0L V8 COYOTE (0-60 just over 5sec.), plus other options. These are the main features I was looking for in a Lariat and couldn’t find one, so I ordered one. My first truck/vehicle I have ever ordered. I had a EcoBoost in my first two and the 5.0L V8 in the last two F150 XLT’s. Love the 5.0 and that’s why I wanted one in the Lariat, now that they even tweeted it some more. Can’t wait, but it looks like I don’t have a choice.... lol.

How many here ordered the COYOTE with their Lariat?
i did, also my 1st time ordering a custom vehicle. also my 1st truck. i’ve driven many and plenty but to be getting my own is very exciting.

went carbonized gray, 5.0, 502-a sport 4x4, 6.5’ bed, 20” wheels, power everything, b&o unleashed, work station, moon roof, factory spray liner. ordered 3/08/21 and just got notified of shipment with eta delivery 6/10-6/16. i’m freaking out right now as it looks like i may be one of the lucky ones. i feel bad for everyone that is stuck in limbo. i’m trying to meter my excitement but it’s hard lol. i hope you get yours soon!

Just had to refresh this thread back up to the top so it does not get buried deep in the pages. I have a Lariat 501A in transit :) .

Ordered my first lariat 5/27 got vin 6/4 and I’m super excited. My F150 experience is as follows...

2013 XL regular cab work truck
2014 extended cab STX
2018 special edition loaded XLT

Ordered a 501A in lead foot (love this color so stuck with it!) and went from 3.5 to 2.7, I think I’ll like this more.

This will be my first Lariat also. Drove Toyota Tacoma's for years.
Traded in my '03 Tacoma for a new '13 XLT 302A. 5.0 V8
Sold my '13 to my brother when I bought my '19 XLT 302A. 3.5 EB
Sold my '19 to Carvana last August for a good price. Wanted a '21 then but they weren't available...so bought my '20 XLT 302A. 5.0 V8
Now have a contract on the '20 with Vroom, and waiting on delivery of my Lariat 501A 2.7 EB hopefully this week. Anxious to see how I like the 2.7 .

First post here. I ordered a '21 Lariat in early April. It's an extended cab with a 6.5' bed. I like the 6.5 bed for hauling stuff & the half doors and extra cab space are handy at times too. Nowadays, that's not a very popular configuration so other than work trucks, you don't see many on the lots. My current F-150 is an '03 which I said I'd keep 'till they sent me to the nursing home. Turned out I lied & ordered the Lariat. I decided it was time to drive a truck with some options. The '03 doesn't even have power windows and locks. In April I actually found a '21 Lariat 4x4 extended cab that was on a local dealer's lot. It was a bit overequipped for my needs so I waited a day before driving over to see it. Next day when I went to see it, I literally saw it drive off the lot with temp tags on it. That one was not at my preferred dealership so I decided to visit my preferred dealer & see what they could do. I ordered one with a 4X4, 3.5L V6, 505A, tow, off road and Sport packages, power tailgate, 20" wheels and a 36 gal tank. Black paint. I have bought a lot of cars at this dealership over the years and they have committed to sell it to me at invoice less a minimum of $1600 in rebates or whatever applies when it's delivered. I didn't have to put any money down & they said if I changed my mind, they'd just put it on the lot. It is going to be built in KC which is cool because I live there. I'm just waiting now. A couple of weeks after the order, the dealer said there's a VIN (don't have it yet but I left a message yesterday asking for it) and it was scheduled to go into production the week of 6/14. I'm not holding my breath on that production date because I know my neighbors at the Claycomo plant have been idled some because of chip shortages. No clue when it's really going to show up at the dealer. I really can't do anything about selling the '03 yet because I'm using it and can't commit to selling it without knowing when the new one will be here.....oh well 1st world problems huh?

Has anyone ever notice how low the new 2021 f150 4X2 sits? My Lariat is on order with of course a 10/31 delivery date! Anyway I pulled up along side a 2021 Lariat yesterday and it sits a little lower then my 2018 F150 that I am driving. The Lariat was a 4X2 and my 2018 is a 4X2. Anyone else notice this?

Getting really anxious now! Dealer called me yesterday to tell me my truck is in Orlando. I should be picking her up in the next couple days.

Let me take a moment to welcome you to F150gen14, and our Lariat Lounge!!

Your OG F-150 is certainly old school, they don’t make em’ like that anymore. The SuperCab for these Gen fourteens are definitely a rarity. I think I’ve only seen one so far, and that was way back at the Ford cross-country F-150 event.

I hate to say it, but like you already eluded to, settle in. This production year is absolutely nutso ?. I waited seven months for my truck, and that was before the supply shortages got more severe.

Your new ride will be here eventually, though, and I can attest, it will be worth it!!

Until then, continue to relax and unwind in the Lariat Lounge, and entertain yourself with all the latest Gen. 14 F-150 news!!

Thanks for the welcome. Just got a call from the dealer. My production week slipped from 6/14 to 7/5. That’s not as bad as I expected but of course could slip again. He gave me the vin and order number. It comes up using the tracker here but shows no production date. Is that typical? He did send me a screenshot from the dealer app which showed the 7/5 production date. However, I do think the tool here is cool showing pics of all of my options and an exterior view in my color and trim.

I ordered her on 3/25 and she was built 5/26. I got really lucky with the timing.
