Coming from the F250 and the deleted diesel world, EVERYONE uses a EZ Lynk Auto Agent to view DTCs, PIDs, etc.
There are also “functions” that you can do on there as well that allow you to make changes without having to use ForScan. I am picking up my F150 on Monday so I don’t know exactly what functions will be available until I’m in the seat and connected to it. But I will post a screen shot of the functions that are available on my 19 F250.
I was looking and one of the functions allows you to calibrate fuel tank volume. The truck I am getting has the 26 gal tank so I am looking to swap it to the 36 gallon and I noticed some guys were having problems getting the DTE to be corrected. I searched on here and couldn’t find anything EZ Lynk related so I wanted to post about it and inform those who have never heard about it.

For those who have no idea what EZ Lynk is, it is a monitoring platform (does not come with any kind of preloaded tunes) that connects via OBD2 that basically just allows you to view ALL of the readings that are going to the multiple computers. Once you plug it in, you download an app and it pairs via WiFi so it does not interfere with Bluetooth In your vehicle. You can view anything from intake air temperature, transmission line pressures, exhaust manifold pressure/temperature, engine oil temperature, and so on.
A lot of the tuning companies in the diesel world like to use it as a platform to tune and delete because the EZ Lynk is not illegal to buy. (EPA cracking down on deleted diesels). Then the customer just has to put the tuning companies email in the ez Lynk to pair it to their system. Once the tuner accepts the invitation, all of the tunes are instantly loaded on the app. And then from there if you are having any problems, you can datalog the vehicle and it’s loaded to the app and sent to the tuner. It’s a pretty cool little product.
I haven’t looked much into it, but guys in the diesel have somehow gotten this view to show up on the 12” screen.

Anyways, sorry for the long post…just waiting on shift change here at the fire dept. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about ez Lynk. I live in GA but like I said I’m flying to Kentucky Monday (1/22) get the F150 and I’m going to take the EZ Lynk with me.

I’m guessing by the lack of replies you were unable to get any functionality out of your ez lynk auto agent device? I sold mine when I sold my diesel last year but was considering one again for an f150 If a gas functionality ever existed for them
