Engine light on and off

Noticed a couple days ago the engine light came on after starting, was on for a day or so then went off. Then came back on yesterday for a day and now is off again.

Last week it seemed it was clunking through some shifts but seems to have stopped. Not sure if related to that.

Also notice in eco mode when light is on the fuel mileage seems to suffer.

Any thoughts? Have an appt for next Friday to get it looked at.

The truck is begging for someone to scan for codes.

The shear quantity of electronic modules and the amazing array of error detection makes having the ability to scan the truck for codes a necessity, rather than a luxury.

Odds are very strong that while the engine light was illuminated the scan would harvest the codes that triggered it to.
