Email update about your order

The only reason you would not get an email from Ford on your order confirmation and beyond that is if your dealer has entered a wrong email address for you into WBDOS and COVP. Ask me how i know. I’ve called the dealer to verify my email and in fact it was incorrect. Unfortunately, once it was entered incorrectly into their systems in the first place, they have no way to update it. You then have to call COVP yourself and have them update it. And still there are no guarantees on getting emails after corrections have been made. Lesson learned, have the dealer read your email back to you and stress that they enter it into their systems correctly.

How are you getting emails updates about your order?

I have gotten 3. My re-order was made 11/22/21. Within a couple hours, I got an email congratulating me on the order.

On 12/2 /21 I got an email telling me I was scheduled for 12/13/21 build week, and given a VIN number.

On 12/15/21, got an email moving my build week to 12/20/21.

Haven't heard anything since.

What is COVP and how do you contact them?

Ice capades on blueovalforum does a very good job of explaining all these systems. They have a number you can call at COVP, but your best bet is to check with your dealer first what email info they entered into WBDO.
