DTC CODE P161C

[ENG430]

Hi,
Every time I check DTC in ForsCan or FDRS I have this code P161C "Automatic Engine Shutdown Mismatch with Vehicle Configuration"!!
I have been only disabled the Auto Start/Stop as described in the spreadsheet.
Any idea what caused this DTC? Is it save to ignore? Or is there a solution for it?

I personally would consider that a "soft code" and ignore it. Especially if there are no real symptoms of a problem.

And Ford (the bot) wouldn't be able to help since it's very likely related to you disabling stop/start.

I have a similar situation with a DTC that persists because I removed the shutters in front of the intercooler.
