I drive a 92 F-150 V-8 5.0 L long-bed, 5-speed manual. It's served me well with very few issues. I enjoy driving it about town even though as I accelerate I can see the gas gauge move.
This morning, an interesting (new to me) experience occurred as I pulled into my parking slot. I was turning into the lot when the door chime alerting you that your keys are in the ignition and you need to get them before closing the door, sounded. Ding-ding-ding-ding. (2 second pause) Ding-ding-ding-ding. (Lather, rinse, repeat until I parked and turned off the ignition.) I was looking at my four diagnostic dials (Oil pressure, water temperature, battery charge, gas tank), nothing was flashing or blinking, no idiot lights giving testament to my having pushed it 1 mile to far... Just the regular chiming.
Any ideas or thoughts on what this could be?
