One last check on door ajar chime

So based off some searching (although answers seem to be all over the map), it looks like the only way to disable the door chime is through Forscan? The whole technique of using a 3 buckle/ unbuckle is just for the seat belt chime which can be disabled in settings anyway. Would Forscan impact warranty if alert tones are the only settings you adjusted?

No impact from warranty for forscan changes for the chime. If you were to take your truck in for not chimes, the dealer may charge you to change it back as it would not be warranty.
