Why does the truck go into deep sleep on a battery tender?

Battery tender hooked on the batteryHow do you have it hooked up to battery? Are you including the BCM or not? My guess is BCM still thinks it’s low voltage. Try getting full charge and reset BCM.
If both leads are directly to the battery terminals change it. put the black lead to a body ground or to the top of the sensor connected to the negative terminal.Battery tender hooked on the battery
Yes. The ground lead must be connected before the BMS plug. Grounding to the body is the easiest way to ensure this. Once connected, the BMS can sense the incoming charge. If both leads are directly to the battery terminals change it. put the black lead to a body ground or to the top of the sensor connected to the negative terminal.
Definitely on the list!!If it’s factory battery you may think about upgrading it. Mine was a H6 that’s pretty small and stick battery’s suck. I went H7 and interstate brand. No more issues
Yessir, I was planning a Duracell H8. I have a 5.0!If your truck is not a Powerboost I think I read could take up to a H8. Will need a new blanket for battery either way. So pick a battery then order the blanket to fit.
