Traded my 2020 Raptor for a 2022 Lariat (502A) fully loaded back in February. Got the Lariat and $2000 to me for the Raptor. Lariat was built December 2021 with the ONLY delete being stop/start.
Missed the Raptor so I ordered a 2023 Raptor back in August (In Production for the past month). Tired of beating myself up waiting I've decided to keep the Lariat. As the Raptor I ordered was $87000 and being prepared to trade the Lariat and $26000 I finally came to my senses and advised the dealer to keep the Raptor and I'll keep the Lariat. For anyone that may be interested in the Raptor I will post when its heading to the dealership in Florida so you can contact them.
Somehow, that $26000 will look better in my savings account than parked outside my home.

Good for you man. It's so easy to get trapped in that loop, I have. Just ordering a new truck is "should I spend just $500 more on xxxx?" Lariat's a nice truck as it is, and you'll save even more on gas.

I here ya. Sold my gen 2 last year for more than I paid for it. Ordered a 22 for 81K in Dec 21 and rolled to a 23 for 87K. No price protection, yet Lightning owners get price protection and 6-8K private offer. To top it off, rates are near 6% vs 2.5% last year. Truck is scheduled for build tomorrow. Probably just flip it. Not sure it's worth 90K when I thought 65K was high my loaded 2018 Raptor.

Having owned a Raptor I'm wondering if you don't feel this way now? When I came home with my 2020 I remember thinking, " I don't give a rats behind if I ever drive this, I can just sit and look at this bad ass sob all day long! " Now, with the TRX and V8 Raptor out it just doesn't feel like you're alone on the ladders top rung anymore. To me the appeal is waning and I don't see the big return on this investment as before.

2019 Raptor, 2022 Lariat on order
I did the same. Traded my '19 Raptor for a '22 Lariat that I ordered in November and was delivered in June. Mine got built right before they started deleting options. The trade agreement and deal on my new truck was all signed at the time of order. I held onto the Raptor until my new truck was delivered. With price protection, X-plan and additional discounts, I feel like I did pretty well. At the time of delivery, the price on the '22 had increased to $79K. I had a trade in agreement for $67K on the Raptor, which was more than I paid for it. It ended up that I signed paperwork and we swapped keys with no money being exchanged.

I considered ordering a '23 as soon as the banks opened, but the more they started removing options, the more my truck started looking like a unicorn. I miss seeing the Raptor in my garage, but considering half of the time I'm using my truck to tow my boat or camper, the Lariat is less the truck I want and more the truck I need.

Same-same on my Black CC '21 Lariat. Not very close to what I would have ordered but it is pretty silly to think owning such a spectacular truck, that meets every need, is disappointing.
