Decided to document my Mod list $$$$

Decided to document all the mods I performed on my 2021 F150 which I purchased new in 2023, its much longer than I expected;

- Rocky Ridge Grill with aluminum insert. Replaced all bolt accents with stainless steel.

- 6inch Rough Country Lift, with additional 1inch block in back for slight rake. Had dealer install this for warranty.

- BFG 35x12 KO2 Tires with 2inch spacers.

- RC Disk Brake Covers

- Rear Fox Shocks w/Resovoirs.

- Slotted and Drilled Brake Rotors all around

- DRL Headlights

- Upgraded 8inch to 12inch Screen. Pretty involved install, replacing much of the dash, wiring, etc.

- Tow mirrors with puddle lights enabled.

- SF1 Fender Flares, Custom painted by RC to match paint.

- Truxedo Low Profile Canvas Toneau cover

- Raptor Steering Wheel with Paddle shifters.

- Yukon Limited slip differential. Diff cover bolts Replaced with stainless steel. Probably my most intensive and rewarding mod to date.

- Individually (Left and Right) controlled Fog lights which do Amber and/or White. Replaced hardware with Stainless Steel.

- OPT7 Tailgate light bar, with multi color reverse, turn and Brake.

- Rough Country Seat Covers and Bed Matt.

- Husky Floor Matts.

- RC rear fender well liners

- Carbon fiber look mud flaps with stainless steel hardware

- Replaced rear speakers with Ford compatible speakers with much larger magnets. Stock rear speakers are pathetic.

- sound deadening matts in all doors.

- Tackform Dash Mounting Bracket to support 1inch ball mounting arms for tablets/phones.

- Custom cut color matching fabric overlays to cover Sun Visor warning labels. Complete coverage, not just sticker covers.

- Modified jump seat phone cradle to provide wireless super-fast charging with micro led charging indicator. Gutted a wireless charger i had laying around, hooked to a 400watt inverter to provide super-fast charging.

- Hidden front camera in grill to see more when parking or off-roading.

- 4 camera dash-cam which goes into security monitoring when parked. Had to do this for jealous employee.

- Twin LED light bars under the hood controlled by contactless magnetic switches.

- Custom LED Bed lights utilizing stock lighting locations, controlled by custom potentiometer switch wired to OEM switch, set to 5 minutes on-time when button is pushed. Eech tap extends by 5minutes. Circutboard mounted in sealed 3d printed box mounted behind taillights.

- PIAA Super Bass Horn replacement. Just sounds more like a high end truck.

- Semi gloss black rust proofing throughout under carriage.

- And too many Forscan changes to remember.

***Still have not been able to get tailgate down notification working, one mod I havnt been able to conquer. Also have Auto windshield wiper sensor being shipped for that mod.

Never, ever, ever do this (document what you've spent on it) unless you know the wife will never see it. LOL.

In the last three years, I purchased two new side-by-sides: 2021 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 and 2023 Honda Talon 1000R Fox Live Valve. One was around $20K OTD, while the other was around $23K OTD.

OK. Reasonable investments. Now I just need to add a few things to them.

When I started accessorizing them (everything from new suspension and tires & wheels to enclosures to skid plates to lights and winches and windshields and such), I made the mistake of keeping track of everything I spent on each one (separate spreadsheet tabs).

Between the two of them, I've spent enough to buy a third one and still have cash left over. Crazy!

I love build threads (for all my vehicles on all different kinds of forums). Not only can you look back and remember all the work (and money) you put into it, it helps gives other people ideas on what they might want to do with their vehicle.

I’ve learned a LOT from others so I’ve been taking a lot of photos as I go. I need to return the favor.

Dropbox - I pay for this (have used it for many, many years). They have a free basic account (2GB), but I pay for the Plus account (2TB). There are plenty of competitors, but Dropbox is my jam.

You just drag & drop from your file explorer (or you can access via the browser). It's not just for pictures - it's cloud-based storage for any files you want to upload and then access from any device you connect it to (computers, tablets, phones, etc.).

I like it because I know every picture I take is immediately uploaded (you can enable/disable this).

Just a few tweaks to optimize my near-perfect as-ordered F150, damn the cost / no regrets, I love every one of these carefully selected enhancements every day.

For me, that was tongue in cheek. My wife LOVES the SXSs and she's the reason we bought the Talon less than 2 years after we bought the Pioneer!
