Daytime Running Lights

Hey guys - getting to know a new truck here - with the headlamps in auto and daytime running lamps turned on (on the screen) the amber parking lights turn on. Is this supposed to happen? Figured the daytime running lights would be the white lights. Thank you.

That depends on what type of light is your DRL. My 22 has led along the sides of the assembly. Depends on model also

Is your tuck new or used? If used, it’s possible a prior owner tweaked the DRL configuration in Forscan.

2024 XLT uses the front amber parking lights as DRL.
