Please forgive my inability to find one if it's here, I searched dash camera and did not find many mentions of it? I'm looking for one and know there's probably a wealth of experience to tap into here. I think I want one with front and rear facing camera. What are the best out in the market? And why? Thanks in advance

I had the dealer install mine before I drove it off the lot.
Ford has them in their accessories book, may be a bit pricey.
I'm okay with mine, Can't see it, the rear camera is barely noticeable in the upper left corner of the glass.
Kind of sensitive to bumps tho--dings when you hit a decent size bump and records an incident.

It is actually a Thinkware product.

Just wondering what the model number is and approx what did they charge you? If you don't mind. Looking at getting one from Ford but up here they want $430.00 for the camera and $200.00+ to install.

Can you post some pictures of the units please? I am wondering how far down they are on the windows.

My dash cam is mounted behind the rear view mirror and a 2nd camera on the back window. The unit is not noticeable. Since you’re in Canada I’d check out blackboxmycar.com. It’s a Canadian company and has a lot of info.

It took me 20 minutes to install the dash cam. $200 to install is crazy.

Will 100% recommend blackboxmycar as well. I've been using them for years with nothing but excellent experiences. I'm currently using a thinkware u1000 dual setup with the optional blackboxmycar battery and it's great. If you are looking for the best then look at thinkware and blackvue
