CVF intake fitment issues (resolved)

I had the same issue and they didnt want to listen to my input on the issue. The extra coolant tank requires a dimple on the intake tube. It "can" be forced in but either the tank or the tube is gonna give. I returned it and bought another brand. Im guessing by ur post they have not fixed the issue and continue to make them the same way

I resolved this with CVF. The correct part number for the PowerBoost is Model Number: CVF 2123352123RE/-C.

I purchased Model Number: CVF 151727151635 by mistake. They have been very nice about the issue and willing to resolve it although it was my own mistake.

Well hopefully they have resolved that by creating the clearance for the extra reservoir tank within the last year. If it doesnt have that dimple our stock intake tubes have, it will prob not work. The AFE intake i bought instead has it, similar to the picture of the stock intake used across all engines by ford

I suspect that the correct intake fits properly. I've purchased from them before, and their products are of good quality. Their support has also been good to deal with.
