Custom Orders Upgrade

Hello,
I just got off the phone with my local dealer in KY as I’m stopping by tomorrow to do a custom build and they told me all new orders placed will be upgraded to 2022s. Which is awesome but I’m not sure I believe it. Anyone else hearing this? Also does anyone know if there are any changes coming to the 2022? Would be nice if they finally added nicer rims to the Platinum. I’ve learned to like them but feel they could have been more high end.

Mine took just shy of 7 months to arrive, so it may mean that they expect delays and that would put you into the 2022 model year.

As the old saying goes - if it's not in writing it becomes not at all. So get it in writing (special order build sheet) & look at it to see if it says 2022.

With all the shutdowns and shortages, wouldn't be surprised if they're looking at 4-5mos delay for new orders, which put it in line with the 2022 model year sticker/VIN. There won't be any other changes though other than that.
