Cover for new "lid-less" center console ???

Well, Ford removed the lid, at least on the XL RCSB's, and the neoprene cover I bought is useless. It was supposed to stretch over the lid, but alas, it's been deleted. Has anyone found any cover that works with our center console ? I just want to keep the sweat and grime from staining the fabric.

UPDATE---> Seems I posted prematurely. I used a plastic pry tool to tuck the front and passenger side into the console and managed to get it to stay on. The back of the console has a slight bevel to it allowing the cover to "grab" it. Now, to see how it fairs over time. I may get some fabric twist pins to secure the back of the cover to the console. You can get these at most fabric stores.
I bought the gray cover on Amazon from USA Seamstress.

A photo would do a lot to help people understand your issue...

Are you talking about this cover? It's just a stock image, haven't been able to find a 'real' RCSB on a lot around me to have an actual photo. Is there actually a 'delete' on your window sticker saying they removed it? otherwise I'd say it either was missed, or lost/stolen at some point...Maybe check with your dealer, get it replaced under warranty...

Yes, that is it. No, there isn't a "delete" on the window sticker, but it was mentioned on here (can't remember who) earlier this year that it would no longer have a lid and instead, get the work surface, which didn't happen either. Even on the build-it page, it still shows it as having a latch, and being able to be opened, which is pretty misleading. And your right, pics would've helped. I'm pretty sure this may only apply to the XL and/or the RCSB....since we are the "base model cheapskates"

OMG, that looks way worse in person than in the rendering...Ford really has no shame in their 'cheapening' of the XL series...

I don't think your going to be able to find what you are looking for though. There really is no where to 'attach' any kind of a cover, unless you did like a slip cover over the entire center section there...

Probably, mine was a Job 1 build, and I'm glad it didn't get the work surface. And yes, it still has the lockable storage under the center seat.
