I used the search function but ended up more confused. My window sticker says "Convoy". Some members of the forum say their Window Sticker says "Rail". Yet others say their truck is shipping "Convoy/Rail". Does anyone know the true meanings of these terms to help educate those of us that have not been forced to become experts of Ford logistics while waiting for their truck?

PS: What are the "Ramp 1" and "Ramp 2" designations on the Window Sticker?

I can’t give you a complete answer but I can say my WS says convoy. I can also tell you it’s currently sitting at a rail yard because that’s where the train left it. So not sure exactly but seems like they use both.

It's how your truck leaves the plant. Some get right on a train. Some leave the plant on convoy to get to a train.

Mine was convoy, then got on Norfolk Southern rail.
