Hi This is BestEvMod, we are an experienced accessories developer that mainly focus on EV, and recently we developed a console organizer tray that is compatible with F150 & F150 lightning with OEM console safe vault installed.

A lot of Owners mentioned that we shall make a console organizer tray that sit on top of the OEM safe vault.
Biggest reason is to make that space useful and at the same time you could simply remove the tray when you need to access the safe vault. and second reason is to give the safe vault extra security by hiding it.

And here it is.

we had done some testing on them, they wont rattle while driving, and the fitment is perfect!
let us know your thought about this!

we had confirmed these lock types will make a perfect fit.

Please note: don't purchase this item if you didn't install OEM safe vault, and this product doesn't come with one.

This tray also works with Console Vault brand. They manufacture Ford’s OEM vault.

Mine came in Sunday and fits nicely.

My only complaint is that the console lid now interferes right near the latching mechanism and requires substantial pressure to latch.

When looking closely, the bottom of the lid has that large protrusion all the way across it and it's slightly contacting the traysides and needing them to spread ever so slightly.

Perhaps it will "wear in" and get easier?

By the way, that same protrusion from the lid pretty much negates anything being in the very far forward section of the tray. That's not anything wrong with the tray, of course.

Edit: I'm such a dufus!

I honestly wasn't aware that this was designed to work ONLY with the console safe. ????

It turns out this tray also can work without the console safe, but you must use the oem narrow tray set right in the middle as a shelf for this tray to sit on.
Works great, except it's obviously that slight increase in height (1/8") that accounts for the interference I was describing above.

So my sincerest apologies to the vendor/seller for my critique above. But the good news is your potential customer base could be far wider than those with the console safe with the most minor of molding adjustment? ?

HA! When I bought one I was looking at the 5 pictures of the different locking mechanisms that they say will work. One of the locks looks like the Tuffy lock. I was going back forth between Tuffy and OEM but in the end I just bought the Tuffy. The OEM looks a little better overall but the opening is much smaller. I do not plan to keep a gun in there so it is really just to guard against a smash and grab. I completely glanced over that it does say OEM only specifically.

Also it looks like the Tuffy might sit a little lower since they say you can use the original tray with it anyway.

I would like to use this full tray instead and since the Tuffy console safe sits lower, it may just work. I do have a Dremel for custom modifications if need be. :)

I wont get that Tuffy for another week but I let everyone here know how it goes. This full tray is very nice and I hope I can get lucky and make it work.

Going to work.
I ended up putting silicone bumpers for cabinet doors on the bottom raising it slightly to stop the teetering from the plastic not being level. We will see how it goes but for now, no latching issues with the lid and tray is stable.

Well I did not go with the OEM console safe and opted for the Tuffy one. It looked like it had a much bigger opening and actually sat slightly lower. The Tuffy said you can still use the sliding tray so it must be lower in the console.

When I bought the Tuffy safe I also ordered the combination lock for it. However when I got the safe I left the key lock in it so it does not stick up as high. I wanted to see if worked with this tray without "custom" modification. The Tuffy key lock did come with a large handle for opening but I removed it as I could not spin it to where I wanted it. It sticks up high so I just removed it to see this tray could work with the Tuffy and the OEM safe.

After getting the Tuffy in with just the key lock and no grab handle (I just use the key) this tray snapped right into place without any modification. It sits perfectly and works great. If I modify the lid handle and cut it down a little I will add it back if needed. However I doubt I will need to as the key works perfectly to open the lid and then just grab the lid itself. This is a nice tray and it snaps in place with this Tuffy safe and I am glad it worked out.

Update:

This tray does not require a safe for it to sit on.
As stated in a previous post, I'm a dufus and ordered the tray not paying attention to what it was designed to work with. I just liked the idea of the tray being the full size of the console opening.

When I received it, I removed the half-tray that came from Ford and went to set this tray in its place. ???

Yea, it just falls right into the console.

I knew that wasn't right, because I'm a genius that way?
So I set the Ford tray back into the console and centered it and then set this tray into the opening.

Perfect shape and matches the opening, but I found that it took a little push on the console lid to latch. Nothing terrible, but the weight of the lid wasn't enough on its own.

It's been a few days now and it appears that the pressure on the tray from the lid, which is from contact in a very small spot on both sides, has altered the tray edge enough that everything works perfectly. It latches now with the smallest of touch.

I'm guessing that if someone wanted to get this perfect fit immediately, a little heat gun directed at the two spots that have the minor conflict would be an easy solution.
