Previously I had LT 275/65R18 Range E tires on my F150, principally to provide better stability when towing a (loaded) 5500 lb. travel trailer.

Recently I purchased new tires, and my dealer installed the same brand as before but an LT 275/70R18 Range E, I believe because the previous size was not available.

Given the slightly higher sidewall on my new tires, will I need to have the computer on my truck recalibrated so that the speedometer and gas mileage is accurate with the new tires?

I would say no.

Not that big of a difference.

Well, mine was 2+ MPH off and that is roughly 10%. It is unclear if these values are used for other features i.e. anti-roll so I would recommend doing it. That said, I found using actual values was as accurate as adjusting it to match a GPS. See the Forscan spreadsheet for a link to the procedure.
