Thanks for the feedback. I contacted Ford via chat and confirmed my truck order is impacted by a chip hold. They still indicated my estimated delivery is between 8/30 - 9/5 which seems unrealistic at this point. We shall see.

Ford is closing in on 600 similar trucks on ordertrack. Impressive we are almost 3 years since the start of a pandemic and we are still having supply issues. Maybe don't try to shut the whole world down or maybe a billion $ company will manufacture their own chips that can completely shut down their product....but who am I?

Figured I'd join in -not "chip hold official", but only because I haven't reached out yet. Build is in my signature, in Production since 8/17. Based on a similar built truck, I am missing the 720, 7C4. 7C6 and 7E4 modules.

FYI... That spray in bed liner adds 60 days after production date before vehicle gets released for shipment. easily. Been there done that.

ordered on 3.22, blend date 7.20, chip on hold now, the only update I received from the dealership was DELAY, again and again.
our local dealership received many order which the blend date were at the beginning of August. That fast uh? Have no idea about that. I understand those are the dealer orders, different from our green window sticker custom order, however they shouldve built the custom order first, many fo us have been waiting for over 6 month even 1 year.

I opted for the spray in bed liner as well. That is probably adding to my delay. May I ask how you know that adds 60 days. I don't doubt it, just have not heard/seen this before and want to know more.

I had a 2021 on order... not the one I now have (long story - like 6 months!)

I read about the delay; it was in some Ford production guideline (something like that). Items (options) that require offsite installation will add time after the produced date before the vehicle is "released", declared "built", scheduled for transport, etc. My experience was per the guideline; would have received my ordered truck in 4 months otherwise, would have been satisfied, and wouldn't be here now waiting even longer this time (almost 7 months and counting and without the spray in bed liner!).

P.S. pre-"plandemic", an ordered truck from date of order acceptance took 60-90 days for delivery... when I started shopping o/a June 2021 the ongoing timeframe predictions became 90-120 days (due to a "chip plant somewhere "burning down"). (Don't we have food shortages, etc. happening lately due to plants/factories all over the place "burning down"?). Seems quality of all services has plummeted since the "plandemic" came around to provide the convenient excuse; and the quality of many things, from food, general services, supply, VEHICLES, shopping (checkout and bags), etc. has just gotten exponentially worse ever since. None of any of this is coincidental at all - can't possibly be. All of this because a USA funded man-made virus was released upon the world "by China"!

I'm at 6 months still waiting and I don't have the bed liner optioned, So that backfired for me. Doing a bed rug anyway but that's besides the point. I just want the physical truck really bad right now. Nobody could and still can't figure out how they pick trucks to be built considering I saw the powerboosts rolling out after ordering them only a month or 2 prior. Then I got bumped repeatedly to top it off. Now I'll be on chip hold soon lol
