If you have the charging pad, with the amount of setting and resetting the phone on it to keep it charging, you may want to reconsider the door, since it will be open all the time.

I actually don't have the charging pad. Can I do the install without one? Would any other part #’s be needed besides the sliding door. Some people keep referring to some “upper trim” but im not sure what that is.

I don't think you need the charging pad. I was just making a comment. IIRC the charging pads came out after the doors went away, but I could be wrong.

I believe I've seen people have done it maybe look around see if someone made a thread about it . I wouldn't mind having the door myself
