If you going to new lease/buy they will hardly look your truck. I was told from my sales guy that I can expect phone call from them after 16-18 months for replacement. They can’t wait to sell your truck to states
I agree. I got a call 20 months into my 2019 lease to get into a 2021. My truck got keyed or someone’s hockey bag with a skate blade hanging out has scratched my drivers side door At the local rink back in November The dealer looked at it and said they would take care of it and not to worry. Then when I was signing my deal for my 2021 Lariat. The finial manager tried selling me on those scratch and dent insurance. I laughed at her and said I’ll take my chances. I attached a photo of the scratch. Anyways I ordered my truck February 20. Dealer told me 8 weeks. Lol seeing posted here looks like it’s gonna be longer than that.

Well I constantly (like weekly lol) email the salesperson at the dealership (Kitchener Ford) and he always replies. I realize that due to COVID and other things there is uncertainties etc but they have been very nice and consistent so far. We'll see how it goes.

I got the call that my truck arrived today. I will be picking it up early next week because they have to still do the bedliner, wheel liners and pdi it. I can't believe I will finally be taking delivery soon. Crazy timing too. It was built March 4th and arrived here March 10th. Crazy

Norfolk Southern doesn't even serve Alberta or the Western Part of North America... Unless they are going to take it East to put on a CN Train to Edmonton first???

EDIT: Just checked the Railroad Maps, it's likely going to Chicago first, then being put on a CN Train to Edmonton, and then trucked to GP.

Congrats. Our trucks were built on the same day(Truck brother). I wonder if I will be getting a call soon to let me know it showed up. It would make sense that it might be a little after you since they would stop in your city first. Were you able to track it anywhere for delivery. Your VIN shows the same status as mine in Palsapp. Pending...

Thanks for the prompt response. The truck is produced in Dearborn, and I do have a spray in bed-liner as part of the order.
Hmmm... So my order went out, I am assuming, right after the new year, with sticker says Receipt Date Jan 12. The dealer said, every time I spoke with them, that they feel the truck should be here in the towards end of March subject to transportation of the 3rd party. They say they have been pretty good with delivery times so far, and while there are things that are not up to them, the trucks usually arrive within 8-12 weeks depending on what is in these trucks. 12 weeks was the longest that is, some showed as soon as after 8 weeks and one was even after 6.
Are you saying that there is no chance the truck will be here by end of March?
Thanks again!
The dealer statements all sound like generalizations, not something specific to your truck. There have been a number of posts on this site saying that the spray-in liner was causing delays. I do not know which plant the comments related to, nor if it is still an issue or not. The dealer has access to the status history of the trucks. You should get them to send a print out of your truck to you. It will show if the truck has been shipped off site for the liner and if it has come back. Given the truck status and that you don't have a production date, the truck is still being built. In an earlier post in this forum I listed the stages / information that shows up in this site's tracker. From what I have seen in other posts, two weeks from Dearborn to Kitchener is doable. You will have a better idea when the tracker shows a ship date.

I just passed by the dealer since my daughter's dance school is right across so while I was waiting for her... So they basically told me that my car has already been manufactured, i.e. their managers can see more than you and I. Also, they keep getting every day trucks that have been ordered around the same time as mine. Today for example they had a truck landing that was ordered a week after mine, but it is XL or XLT don't recall. They don't know when someone's truck lands so they get notified on daily basis what is expected in the day/two. The way I understand it is that my car will likely arrive a little later because it is a Lariat and because it has bedliner and because it has more "stuff" in it than the one that had arrived today. Now I realize that at the dealer, they do a bedliner in a few hours and I will remember this for the future... I would say the salesperson and his manager have been very good so far and fair transparent, I did not feel like they are ignoring me etc, and I am generally very happy visavi what they said/done so far. If this changes, I will definitely make an alarm. Grabbing my balls now and being patient... Cheers.

Same here. Mine was built on the same and still says pending. My dealer did confirm it is in Ontario though. I have a feeling mine will show up this weekend. I viewed 3 trucks at my dealers yesterday and they were all built on the 25th of February, shipped out on the 26th and arrived on March 7/21. So mine was built a week later on March 3-4, shipped out on March 5/21, so if schedules remain the same mine should show up Sunday night.

Although, I’m not holding my breath, things can change in a minute. But it’s a good comparison.

No kidding, I was in shock when my salesman told me that.
And I asked specifically if he had a VIN since he had a build week and he said he didn't. Originally was told 6-8 weeks and personally I was willing to wait up to 10, but I’m having trouble wrapping my head around waiting 4 months for an F150.

Ask your sales guy for a copy of the DORA, that will show what was ordered, what plant it will be built and if you have a build week, it should show the VIN

My truck was produced March 01, shipped March 03. Transit shows 24 days, so between 24-30 march. It was produced in Kansas though.
Which I could also see these 9-12 day shipments some of our Canadian guys are.
