i Hate delays
Mine's been sitting in this status for 2 weeks now.
I've ordered bed liner, although its not on my window sticker or specs for the truck. Dealer will probably take care of that after it arrives (if it can get built some day)
I do have the Chrome package on my lariat that has the chrome running board. Wonder if that is the issue

No kidding, I was in shock when my salesman told me that.
And I asked specifically if he had a VIN since he had a build week and he said he didn't. Originally was told 6-8 weeks and personally I was willing to wait up to 10, but I’m having trouble wrapping my head around waiting 4 months for an F150.

From what I understand it is now ONLY the Ford trucks GMC RAM trucks are 4 to 5 months for a build this COVID-19 CRAZINESS scared everyone

Ordered my Platinum Dec, 31st, got the vin last week with a March 2 build date and the window sticker showed up last night. here's hoping.

Ordered Jan 10th and still not even scheduling for build. I have a lot of commodity items on my build so I would imagine it will take awhile. 502a 3.5, max tow, power steps, work surface etc etc.... My dealer can have a 2.7 502a Sport with fairly limited options scheduled next day and delivered in 6 weeks, but for those of us that want a little more truck we're going to be waiting for it...

Really sucks... Mine has been stuck in this status since 2/4/2021.

I noticed that it took 23 days for the Bedliner to get installed truck was finished built date 01 31 2021 was returned to Dearborn 02 23 2021 after bedliner was installed Ford sends it out for installation. See attached

I’m at day 20 since production and still not sent offsite yet. Something is really messed up and some get done within a day .

Where is your vehicle being built? Kansas City plant was shut down last week and is only operating with 2 shifts not 3 this week. Dearborn plant is operating at 1 shift last week. So things are moving slowly.

Dearborn. The frustrating thing is I’ve watched a lot of vehicles pass me . They have had later builds and spray in liner but just steamed through. I’ve looked at options but there does not appear to be any consistency. It truly seems to be the luck of the draw.

I agree when I see some guy placed an order in September then another guy buys in January and the trucks have same options. You would think the order form September would be built first. However the one from January is built and the guy takes delivery of his new truck and the September order has not even received there VIN it is crazy......

I don’t believe so. The dealer said they had lots of allocation in September and it was produced . The truck was submitted as a priority 19 in September but was changed to a 10 in November. From following a number of other trucks it just seems there does not appear to be any reason. My guess is there must be a QC issue but I have no idea.

What is everyone putting down for deposits on custom orders? My dealer took a $2,500 non-refundable deposit back in November, and I’m wondering if this is typical of Canadian Ford dealers.

I gave my dealer $250.00 That’s it. $2500.00 seems like a lot.

I ordered a 302a XLT 3.5 MaxTow in september and still don't have a scheduled date. What do you guys think, will I get my order before the summer ? It doesn't make sense to wait 8-9 months for a Ford F-150, they are building millions of them.....

I'm in canada, do they still have higher priority on the US orders ?
