So here was the response I got from my dealer as to what is delaying my build.

"What is holding up your order the most is the interior work surface. There is a high commodity control on that part and only a small percentage of all trucks (15%) are allowed to get it. You could have your order sped up sooner if you remove that option."

So I guess I have to decide to I want the option or the truck sooner.

Tough Decision. Your truck is essentially the same build as mine, but you have a few extras. I didn't add the Pro-power, work surface, B&O system, and the spray-in bedliner. I was told that the spray bedliner right now is adding about 2 weeks, so I decided not to have it done at the factory and to do it locally (plus helps support a local business during these rough times.) Good luck in your choice. Part of me thinks (guessing) that the work surface will be available as a dealer add-on in the near future, so could always get it on then, though it will cost more than being done via the factory.

She said "wow he must have gotten lucky, ford's scheduling is weird rn and I have no idea when I'm gonna get the vin for your truck" I guess I'm still stuck waiting in the dark lol

Where was your F150 built? I am in Brampton Ontario my truck was built in Kansas City plant so transit date is longer for my truck to arrive I think

I ordered mine December 7th. I got a VIN January 15th. Nothing is updated on the tracker regarding a build date but my dealer looked into it and he told me it is February 22nd. We shall see I guess. Its a Race Red Lariat 2.7 with only the tailgate step, active prep pack and 360 cam options. I think part of the reason that its taking a bit longer is because race red only is done in one plant (Kansas) and for at least one week the stock 18" wheels were constrained.

Update my F150 Lariat Raped Red recieve the VIN # January 26th from my dealer Window Sticker was available January 29th. Truck built February 4th. Truck shipped " In Transit " February 5th. Talked to my dealer today said I should receive my new Truck between February 27th to March 5th.
