Can someone ID this sensor?

Can someone tell me what this sensor does? And confirm it is held onto by one nut. I had a lift installed yesterday and found this nut holding on by one thread and the back nut possibly missing. But the marks on the bracket look like only one nut was there in the first place.

I bought mine. It’s $89 plus $49 more for all of the wiring diagrams. Pricy but worth every penny. Most people pay twice that for some painted emblems.

it may be online somewhere, but I like my own copy as it’s indexed and searchable. It’s also 18,000 pages long.

Thats awesome, was looking for a good source for service manual. Do they also provide some sort of online source for any updates that may come down the line?

I didn’t see anything on their website for updates. It’s says dtc’s are current, so I would guess that they are current as of the day you order the manual.
