Can I stop the gear numbers from showing

Can I remove the gear numbers that are shown below the " PRND " in the center display . I just now that when I tow I will be obsessed with watching which gear the truck is in.

Good grief man, exercise some self control ....

you may find it useful when towing to know that you've hit the (-) button on the shifter the correct number of times to lock-out only 10 or 10 & 9 (locked-out gears go grey on that display)

Actually, if you hit + when you already have 1-10 displayed, doesn't it remove the gear display?

I think that’s the way it works in my wife’s 2019. I’m not often driving it, so my memory is fuzzy. But I’ll give it a shot in mine.

It does not do it on the 14th gen trucks. I’ve tried.
