Hey all I have a question for the super cab longbed 4wd guys. I don't care what engine but please list your engine and if you have the 4wd auto option or not.
I am having a vibration issue with mine, and the dealership has spent two years and even had Ford engineers look at this truck and no fix yet.

There is another post from me that goes into more detail.

Do you have any driveline vibrations??
If you don't have vibrations I would like to hear that too.

I know this will be a small group but hoping to get some input from others with the same wheelbase trucks.

Thanks

Mine is a 21 Lariat 501A with 4A. I have the 5.0 with max tow and have experienced zero issues. As you can see in my profile pic, I have an aluminum shell which means I'm hauling around an extra thousand pounds or so of tools and supplies. Maybe extra weight might help your truck.

No real fluff in this truck except the console.
No vibrations as delivered
No vibrations after removing 4x4 blocks and 1-3/8” lowering shackles.

Sorry you are having issues. Perhaps it may be transmission relate?
This is one of nicest driving vehicles I have owned, and I think the wheelbase has everything to do with it (can’t get it parked anywhere, but…).
Hope you get yours ironed out.

Love that color.
I get he parking problems. I just park out in the north 40. I figure the extra walking is good for me anyway.
A lot of work has already been done to my truck to try to find the vibration...more parts replacing than actual troubleshooting.
I've been telling them since day one that it felt like a pinion bearing issue, or at the least tied to the driveline speed (not tire or engine rpm). The last time I talked to the service director I asked him to just pull the diff cover and see what he could find, even if he had to pull the carrier out because they were going to have to pull the axles for the recall anyway.
FINALLY they had yet another Corporate engineer look at it when they pulled the diff cover and they said the fluid smelled burnt and had metal shavings in it...you don't say LOL

I'll post up if the new axle assembly fixes the issue...

It may have the wheelbase, but it's not a real long-bed ?

Aside, @Chappy133, that's a truly sharp looking truck, but one detail misses the mark and 'blows' the lines, IMO. A pity Ford didn't offer that. (hint - wheel-to-wheel)

Technically the supercab 8 ft bed has a 7" longer wheelbase at 164 vs 157,but who's counting lol.
