Build week 4/29 -5/6

Alright guys.. production week!!!

I've got a "Build Date" of 5/1 per chat, and a Blend date of 5/3 on my window sticker (oh no... a "Friday" truck ). Time to see what all of that really means. ? It will be sent "off site" for bedliner and some other stuff.. hoping that doesn't add more than a few days. ?

Today is supposed to be my day… 4/29 from chat, and 4/29 blend. No differences yet on tracker yet but I’ll be keeping a close eye on it!

No accessories at all here, so hoping for a quick ship.

What the heck does the Blend Date mean? Mine is 5-5-2024.

What the heck does the Blend Date mean? Mine is 5-5-2024.

Blend date is the day your parts are all collected and ready to be assembled.

I think more formally, it is the day the body of the truck meets the frame.

My truck has a build week of 04/29/2024 with a blend date of 04/30/2024. What is strange is it has been in production status since 04/17/2024 with no updates. The last update still shows a date of 04/17/2024.

Mine updated on 4/23 to "In Production" as well. Hence I reached out to chat and found the 5/1 build date (still says "week of 4/29" on tracker, but the dot moved to "In Production".

Mine is the same way. Dot moved to "in production" on 4/17, with no date below it. Has been that way since.

Reading between the lines from the chat lady, I think the dot moves when your order is "sent to plant". I assume mine will update with a date below the dot in the next 48 hours, since my blend date is today, but we'll see. Here's a snip of my timeline.

When I went through this before we had a way to check and see when the modules became active. That is how we knew it was actually built. Can’t find the process anymore.

EDIT…..found it. The link below SHOULD let you check and see when your trucks modules are active. Not sure it still works but it was a great help in the past.

WOW! That is a TON of data!

I’m a techie guy and still think that is a ton of data and would take quite a bit of time to deliver. However, it looks like mine is built (at least my hope) on my 4/22 build. Probably just off getting the spray in liner done.

You can hit up the Ford Customer Service chat with your VIN and they can give you the freight car number and you can track it across the states….if you really wanted to. Things were different when I waited 18 months lol
