Is anyone else with a build day this week still waiting for an update on the Ford tracking site? Based on the information I got yesterday, my truck was still scheduled to be built this week. Window sticker updated on 3/31 with no change other than the date. My VIN now returns a result in the Ford Fleet towing/payload tracker as well, but no change to the Ford order tracker. I am going to try and get in touch with the dealership to see if they have anything new. With the looming shutdown next week, I was hoping to see something change this week.
MY WINDOW STICKER UPDATED 3/31 ALSO SCHEDULED TO BE BUILT THIS WEEK ALSO NOTHING ELSE SO FAR I WONDER IF THEY ARE CLOSED FOR EASTER WEEKEND

Ordered 2/15, build date scheduled as 3/30, est delivery 5/1. Looks like it built 3/31, tracker went to 5/3 est delivery and this morning went to 5/15 est delivery.

Ughhhhhh!!! ?

The blend date is at the top, roughly middle, in the border area. It is the sequence your truck will be built in on a given day based on my searching this morning.
My date at the top shows a 3/29 but the date on "In Production" icon is 4/1. At the bottom of my window sticker is says CA04 in the Ramp 1 box and "Convoy" in the box next to it. What do these entries mean. Thanks in advance

I believe the date shown in the “in production” area is the actual build date. It looks like yours is scheduled for convoy (truck transport) from that ramp location. Mine is shown as rail. I show the same the in production date but still no built status or ETA. Very frustrating!
Anyone know if they still plan to chip the produced trucks during this plant idling?

It sounds like they just stopped production today in both plants. I'm sure this will delay us all. Sucks that you are so close, I don't even have a build date yet or VIN yet and I'm a month in. https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thr...ck-plant-and-kansas-city-assembly-plant.2761/

My dealer shows mine is produced but I guess it’s not “built” because of the chip issue. It’s getting harder and harder to be patient...
So I guess we won’t see any status changes for 2 weeks

It would make sense that they would chip the built trucks during this 2 week period to clear the backlog...but that’s assuming the Ford build process follows logic...

Don’t be too alarmed that the delivery dates fluctuate. Mine varied from April 10th to April 15th and back and forth through various dates in between multiple times. All to have it delivered to my dealer March 24th....

I’ve tried to crack Ford’s DaVinci code of the F-150 build process multiple times to no avail. It’s a headache inducing procedure!

Don’t want to over promise for you, but once it’s built the trucks seem to be shipping out pretty quickly and the Ford tracker’s estimated delivery date is fairly conservative. Probably to lower expectations initially, then it’s a bonus of the truck arrives early. FWIW, mine was built at the Claycomo plant and arrived about three weeks earlier than the mid-April estimated delivery.

I believe the truck to be 'built', but no ideas if it's sitting, waiting, for these infamous chips. Tracker still says "In production", six days after blend date.

Purely my conjecture, but I believe Ford will only mark it as “Built” status once it is completely done.

Some other members on here were able to tell their trucks were fully built but awaiting installation of bed liners, tonneau covers, well well liners, etc. and they were not marked as “Built” on the Ford tracker until all of those components were completely done and installed. It may be the same if built trucks are awaiting installation of microchips.

Thanks for your write-up on your saga. It does give me a glimmer of hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel if you have the patience lol. My tracker shows 4/1 under the “in production” stage. I don’t see them moving it to “built” until that elusive chip is installed and it’s ready for transit.
