Hey everyone. I’m having an issue and before I take it to the dealer to have it looked at, I wanted to see if anyone else has the same issue.
I have a ‘21 2.7 XLT just over 8500 mi and I intermittently get the “Brake” warning light indicator on the dash and sound. It has only ever popped up on startup and turning the truck off and on again clears the light every time.
I checked my Ford app after the warning and even a few minutes after with the truck still and nothing shows.
Today it happened again and turned truck off, grabbed my code scanner and connected up but no codes stored.
I’m guessing I may have to connect my scanner with the truck actively running next time with the light to see.
Brake fluid is still full and no noticeable difference in brake pressure or travel. Anybody have something similar happen? I’m not an aggressive driver and only cart the family around. Never towed with it either.
