Hey all,
I have a 2021 XLT with the 6.5 box in Agate Black
Recently I had an incident that resulted in an approximately 3” tear in my rear quarter panel just in front of my tail light. A shop quoted me $5200ish CAD to fix this by putting a new box side in, painting, etc.
I recently found a complete 6.5 box in black that’s in good shape for less than $2000 but it’s a 2015-2020 style. Looking online it appears that dimensionally the boxes are identical, but I know there will be differences to the tail lights and tailgate for sure.
Can anyone else think of anything that might prevent this from working out and saving me 3 grand?
