Bottom Chasis cover hanging down?

I have a 2021 Platinum and noticed that some type of cover underneath, just behind the engine is hanging down. Almost feels like it is made out of compressed/paper/textile material. Unsure of what the purpose is, but assume it's there for a reason. Anyone else had this happen? It feels very flimsy.

All those will fail eventually. Just remove it. If you want a real skid plate get a RCI of Talon.
