Don’t think this needs much more context… ?

Just trying to find a definitive answer as to whether or not I’ll need to trim my factory lug studs if I ran 1.25” BORA spacers and retained my factory 20” Sport Wheels on my 2021 F-150. Can’t seem to find a clear answer in my research.

Pic of my wheels attached, to be abundantly clear.

Your help is truly appreciated!

But same tires and the shop was strongly against it with keeping stock wheels. Guess you can deal with a little rubbing (trimming plastic), but I didn't want that again.

Great to hear I would have to trim the studs, thanks! Wasn’t willing to do that. Did they say why they were against using the stock wheels? It would make them a similar offset to Venomrex wheels which fit fine without rubbing. I do also have a 2” level if that makes a difference.

Sorry to send you wrong direction.. I CANNOT confirm trimming studs is required. But like you, I spent quite a bit of time searching for the same answer. The shop was pretty certain I was going to be trimming plastic, maybe rubbing crash bar at full lock. I played it safe this time around and just jumped into a +1 wheel. Sorry for the confusion.

I too have been considering wheel spacers for my 2022. I think you need to measure how long your studs are and get spacers thicker than that. I’ve read posts that say I would need 1.5” spacers.

I tested out 1.25” spacers with my 2021 Sport wheels and they fit fine, no stud trimming needed. Just fyi.

Have 30mm spacers and studs protrude slightly. Inside face of the 2021 18" sport wheels are not flat on inside mating surface ( probably to reduce risk of sticking between surfaces). These indents are enough to clear studs without any problems. Aftermarket wheels may be different.
