Maybe I misunderstood some of the functionality of the BC but it was my understanding that while BC is engaged, you can tap your turn signal to make a lane change and as soon as the system determines it’s clear, it will automatically make the lane change. I’ve tried this several times with no vehicles on either side and have been unable to get it to work. Was wondering if anyone else has been successful in doing this or perhaps I was given bad info on how to use the system?
Thanks guys.

So you’re saying at this moment that’s not available?
yes, thats exactily what Snakebitten is saying. hopefully if bluecruise version 1.3 comes to the f150s it will support lane change. As of now i dont know if v1.3 has been confirmed for the f150 ice models or not.

According to the gurus, the preparatory updates for Bluecruise 1.3 are indeed being delivered to ICE F150s.
Or put another way, Ford appears to be setting the table for 1.3 on ICE F150s.
Same tablecloth, silverware, and plate. It would be odd to do so and then not serve the meal. :)

You can clap your hands and stomp your feet like those GM guys, you just can't lane change yet.

lol. I’m not all that impressed with the BC myself. I mean it’s ok and since it’s part of the services on my truck for another two years, I do use it from time to time. I sure as hell won’t be paying that stupid yearly fee for it once the free subscription is over.

My only concern is if they start charging subscription for the adaptive cruise since it is basically the same with hands on. I don't use cruise much on any vehicle but it is cool tech when I feel like using it.

Yeah true. I hadn’t thought of that. I use the cruise a lot more too

Adaptive cruise dates back way farther than Gen14, and is widespread across the automotive industry. Even on economy vehicles.

They wouldn't dare. ?

It'd be a negative publicity nightmare to make the recent BMW fiasco look tame.

What about the Toyota remote start? :)

I could see them nerfing the adaptive cruise, disable lane centering so you have to steer yourself but keep the radar speed, or something else dumb just for the money grab.

No they didn't, did they?
After 3 years you can't even use fob to start a Toyota without a subscription is my understanding.
We are lucky that FordPass is free (for now).

If you have it for another two years then you likely have already paid the $600 when you purchased the truck. Some of us did not pay the $600 and we will loose the free trial at the end of this year !! way to go Ford Thank you !!
