Recently traded in my '21 Ranger Tremor Lariat with adaptive cruise for a '24 F150 PB with Bluecruise. The Ranger had an ADD aftermarket front bumper, and I successfully relocated the ACC (adaptive cruise control) sensor myself to behind the ADD bumper's opening, and it worked 95% as good as stock, despite being behind the steel bumper and with an obstructed view. Only difference was it took a slight extra delay to react to traffic speeding up. Recalibrating didn't change anything.

I've read a few threads on here about this, but still seeking more info. I want to get another front bumper for the new F150 XLT, but the ACC sensor on the F150 is very low and off to one side, and a lot different looking, compared to the Ranger. When I relocated the Ranger cruise control sensor, it only moved up about 6" and still stayed in the center.

Is anyone having any issues relocating the ACC sensor on the F150 to a different, much higher up location that maybe is more centered? Can it go behind the grill? How does Bluecruise use the ACC anyways? Do any off the aftermarket front bumpers inhibit or not allow the 360 cameras?

Basically, can I do a new Rough Country or ADD bumper, and keep my Bluecruise working well? I drive a ton of miles on the highway, but also spend a lot of time wheeling.

Thanks. Crazy how much nicer this thing is compared to the Ranger.
