One should be driving at all times. Just because the truck is steering itself doesn't alleviate one from being the intelligence in control of the vehicle.
If I have to have my hand hovering over the steering wheel every time I go by an exit, pass another vehicle, go around a curve, or it’s windy, as I said, I might as well be driving. It’s less stressful since I know what I’m going to do, unlike knowing what the Bluecruise driven truck is going to do!

My driving experiences with Lane Centering is that it’s a risk and the ping pong effect is pronounced. A bit less so using BlueCruise, but it‘s so immature that it feels like a beta version. The idea that Ford wants to charge for its use is a ballsy way to help underwrite development costs.

It is way too expensive for what it does; but, I would rather the premium be paid by people who want to use it rather than adding an additional $XXXX to all trucks across the board.

or you know, install it for people that want it.

its nuts that they want a sub for this crap, especially since this has near 0 recurring cost to them
