Same issue, Just got a 2022 Tremor and the blue cruise date has not updated still at 10-12. Picked up the truck on December 17th. Asked the dealer to look at it and they told me to wait a couple of months as Ford hasn't figured it out. I paid for it, my 3 years started when I got my truck! VIN#1FTEW1E88NFC34612.
I can fix it.

Im not sending updates out anymore. They are not working. I have a workaround that will fix the date BUT you have to have forscan.

Im debating even stopping helping with the date anymore. I have had some bad experiences lately with some of these zero post people looking for help.

To be fair, you don't owe anyone anything. I understand you enjoy helping people, but it isn't worth it if it causes more stress in your own life.

Most all of the regulars on here know you well enough to understand all that you do and are more likely to ask for assistance rather than asking you to do it for them. However, some will come on here an take advantage of your knowledge and skillset and will still flip you the bird on their way out even after you fixed their problems for free.

Maybe it's time to pull the plug, or at the very least vet the people on here. Maybe a minimum of 10 quality posts or something? (Just an idea, not sure how you'd handle it) No need to help those that aren't willing to help themselves, or at least one's that aren't really even members on here

Google Infotainment and see what they do.
That was really helpful--I didn't realize that "infotainment" was the name of a company. It answers so many questions! I've trusted Jesse to know what he's doing, but now I have a better understanding of "why" he knows what he does.

Don't even bother responding to the bot.
I don't think that it's actually a bot, since I've seen the request for information tailored to the specific issue a few times. Rather, I think that it's someone (or probably a group of people) on their customer relations team that is given a standard template that they're supposed to cut and paste. And the results you would get from that approach to customer relations is probably about what you'd expect (and what we've seen). In short, not the best approach...but maybe better than a bot?

I have really thought hard the last couple days. I enjoy helping people. I enjoy the excitement the people get when they have had zero hope to have it fixed and workign.

I do not enjoy what I have encountered lately.

Ifyou need help I will help. I dotn ask for money. I dont ask you to bow before me. I dont ask you post about how awesome I am. I dotn ask anything. OTHER THAN respect me. Respect the fact I just helped you and took time out of my life and day to help you fix and issue for a multi billion dollar company that cant fix it themselves.

Hello All! I recently did some internet googlings and came across this forum and thread.

A while back I had a 2004 F-150 Lariat for a decent deal during all of that “employee pricing” stuff.. I had to part ways with it shortly after my kid was born as it had that whole lose tensioner issue that was messing up the timing and running lean on bank 3 and 4. It was only a 4x2, so ya know… wasn’t too difficult of a thing to let go at the time..

Fast forward to today, or February rather, and I decided it’s time to get back into my zone and placed a custom order. October 3rd finally rolls around and I take delivery on my new 2022 F-150 King Ranch.. Then of course, December 10th comes and Blue Cruise goes..

@Jesse-Infotainment - I know I’m one of those “0 posters” so if you have to vet me for a bit, I totally understand. I only just got my truck back, so I’m new around here. I also work in the IT industry, so I totally understand the zero thanks and impatient attitudes from time to time. If you’re able, I kinda just need to know where mine is stuck and what I may need to do to move it forward. I did purchase an ODB Link MX+ and I can get FORScan. I would appreciate it if you ever find an opening in your day. Looks like you’re quite busy around here.. Also following the APA thread since mine was a Job 2 build, so hopefully something is also found there one day =)
