BIG shout out to Jesse for helping me this morning!!
Because of him I was able to install an update to the gateway and now I'm just waiting for the update to register the new date and I hope to see hands free VERY soon.
What a great forum as others have stated! Could not have remedied this with ford as easily as I was able to here.

Now how do we prevent having to go to a third party to fix Ford’s problem? We can’t expect to take our vehicles to the dealership for what should be a simple OTA fix. We can’t just sit quietly either. We paid for our vehicles to be equipped with BlueCruise. We deserve and expect more from Ford on this.
To-date my BlueCruise was fixed by Jesse but it’s unfair for all of us to go to him every 4 months when honestly there shouldn’t be an expiration every 4 months or so of our hands-free maps.
The Ford reps who’ve been in contact with me said there would be a fix December 22nd. That’s come and gone and I suspect they won’t have a fix for at least one month.

I totally agree with you. FORD, get your act together and support your trucks like you said you would and should!

If maps expired, if keep track of the date it expired, and complain constantly to get the subscription extended no less than the amount of time you were unable to use the feature.

Same problem going on in my brand new F-150 lightning 2023. Blue cruise never gets activated. Sync 4, software version 22230, revision 546. Hands free available through 10-12-2022. Who can help? I can DM my VIN if it helps.

Dangit! I thought so.. the app says 3.5.5 is available, the car says it’s up to date.

Thanks for the reply and the offer! I’m unfortunately on the trip and 800 miles from DFW.

Has anyone had issues with Bluecruise updating to a fresh date later than the October date and then reverting back to the October date randomly? I bought my truck in November and obviously it started out expired. Once my warranty was activated, Ford pushed an update to my truck and I had Bluecruise for a good 3 weeks and my Bluecruise maps date was in 2023. As of 2 weeks ago, the date reverted back to the October date and hands free was no longer available. ?

So yours reverted.. it was at 2023 and flipped back?
