Hello Jesse, I am new here but my 2022 King Ranch shows the maps expired on 12/10/22 but my subscription is good through 2025 online. Any chance you can help out I would appreciate it.

This one bums me out. I just took delivery of my '22 a month ago and mine also came with the 12/10/22 expiration issue. It worked great up until last weekend.

I saw on the Mach-E forums that cycling the ignition 10 times may force an update, but otherwise the map updates need to be applied with files created from FDRS to fix it. Since I've had well over 10 ignition cycles over the last month I don't think it's going to go on its own.

Dealer just called me, they are at a stand still with my truck. They are telling me there are no updates available for my truck therefore my Connected Services features (Blue Cruise, Alexa, Ford Streaming and Navigation) all still say "Activation Pending" and they are not sure what to do to activate it. Any help or guidance that I can relay to the dealer would be so appreciated! They have my truck and had no loaners available so I am basically stranded until they figure it out. TYIA

If the truck is drivable get it back. Dealer won't work any faster or harder to figure it out if it's on their lot.
Call Ford customer service. They may be able to help or direct you to a department that can help. Be persistent and ready to spend a lot of time on the phone. Get case number. Ford is not easy to deal with and most reps know little or nothing about your problem.

@Jesse-Infotainment Like a broken record in this thread, hope you can fix my BlueCruise issue. Maps show expired at the 10-09-2022 date, which was before I got my truck last month. You would think it would be up to date when you drive it off the lot. I'm showing no updates available and when I get on most highways the popup shows that I can enable BlueCruise, when I do I still have to keep my hands on the steering wheel. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you have any luck getting this fixed? Mine won’t let me take my hands off the wheel and I just bought the truck. What can I do?

Ford effed this up. My hands free map says it expired. 30 days into driving my vehicle equipped with BlueCruise that I paid $2500 for and it’s now garbage.
why would Ford even make their software expire? It’s not like the BlueZones have changed.
I want my money back. That’s the fix

Your Truck has the update installed. The issue seems to be the maps arent extending as they should after the update is installed.

The other issue is i see no history anywhere of the gateway being updated. So Im clueless as to why a few of you show the update as being installed but no history of it actually installing.

All I can do is send you the update again and you can try to install it and if it is truly installed it will say update already installed and wont proceed.

Can you try to send the update to me again?

I will bring it to the dealer and ask them to take care of this.

I did notice there was a message via OTA that I had something install but not sure what it was for.

Anyone in this thread have an issues with their BlueCruise hands-free maps that expired December 10, 2022? @Jesse-Infotainment was awesome enough to send me the update via USB. I've updated and now at the mercy of cycling on and off drive cycles for the next 100 years. Would like to know if you fixed it. Thanks
